We come from the lab ourselves, and we are building WeLoveScientists the way we always wanted it as researchers — reproducible, auditable, data-sovereign.
Both founders have worked the same interface for years, only from two sides: the lab and the software. That is exactly where the friction WeLoveScientists wants to remove arises.

A dedicated scientist in molecular cell biology and neurobiology (M.Sc.) with more than seven years of hands-on experience — from the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research through medical microbiology to industrial neuroscience discovery. He helped develop automated cell-culture screenings, building, optimizing and validating them, and knows the daily reality between pipette, LIMS and experiment analysis first-hand. Hence, he is already familiar with many of the challenges in everyday research. However, he may not yet know what would be most helpful especially to you. At WeLoveScientists he owns the scientific direction, the pilot partnerships, and the dialogue with the research community and is therefore always open to hearing from you.
He built the platform you are reading this on himself. A software architect (M.Sc. Applied Computer Science, focus on embedded systems) who has founded twice: an e-commerce business with more than 1,200 orders, technically his own work and profitably run, and later a sole proprietorship for AI-assisted audiovisual production. As a full-stack developer he built a cloud-ready web application for automatic user-account provisioning; added to that, industry experience in hardware-software integration and a master’s thesis that surfaces funding opportunities for biodiversity measures using natural language processing (NLP). At WeLoveScientists he owns product strategy, architecture and infrastructure.
